Fine Packaging & Converting

PT Wediaraya Prima was founded in January 1991 by Mr Rahardjo Dharma. The company initially started production in a rented warehouse with a humble space of 200 square metres and 30 employees. We began with a narrow web 5 colour rotogravure press designed by Mr Dharma himself.

In April 1992, PT Wediaraya Prima invested in a new facility and expanded to 5000 square metres due to the rapidly growing demand of printed packaging in Indonesia.

We invested in 2 additional gravure presses with the blueprint of Mr Dharma’s original design and a single station Sakurai offset press. Construction began in 1995 for a brand new factory 6 kilometres west, and in 1996 a second plant was established with a total land area of 9000 square metres in bangak; where 75 percent of the total production was moved to. Keeping up with the demands of our customers we acquired a 4 station 40 inch Komori offset press in 1998. This marks the start of our development in offset printing.
